What is ZuumQuest 2008? To promote alternative, green transportation, the founders of Zuumcraft™ will embark on a road trip of over 600 miles along the California coast, from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to the Coronado Bridge in San Diego, riding the Zuumer®, a very light electric vehicle powered by lithium-ion battery. We will track the progress of the road trip real-time and daily chart our journey, including interviews to gauge the perception and reception of electric vehicles.
Why are we doing ZuumQuest ‘08? Green transportation can be cool and fun, but it doesn’t have to be boring or a hassle. What better way to share this philosophy with the world than riding the California coast?

Who are we? Zuumcraft, Inc. designs and manufactures very-light electric vehicles to provide environmentally sensitive last mile transportation. The Zummer is made for corporate and college campuses and sports enthusiasts alike. Under development for three years, the Zuumer will soon be released.
